It is often misunderstood that a fundamental inner harmonization of a human with its environment cannot be achieved by decoration alone. Therefore, before any new housing project should be a well-founded consultation. The first, most important decision is the arrangement in the room. The floor plan concept is fundamental for all further designs. In this first planning step, one sets the course for a harmonious future.
Whether residential, office or commercial space, I will show you trends and feasibilities. With Genius Loci Baukultur GmbH I support you personally and competently in all questions of interior architecture. Proportions, details and harmony play a major role in planning and designing interiors. A personal story…
My life was calling for change. I was looking for more harmony in my life and longed for a stable partnership and family. In a very refreshing conversation with Kathrin Schmack, I quickly realized that there were also crucial aspects in my home environment that could positively support and accompany the process of change. I was immediately on fire and commissioned Kathrin to show me possibilities that would put my energies back on the right track.
According to my personal constellation and my desire to change something for myself, Kathrin took a close look at my floor plan. She explained in detail the different starting points I could change in my apartment to create a "positive flow". The concept consisted of two aspects: the location and organization of my bedroom and my kitchen. After she redesigned my bedroom, I already feel much more arrived and the space became really comfortable. I would never have thought of this solution myself, but it immediately seemed completely natural.
Another key aspect was the organization of my kitchen. The stove and oven were not in the right position for my personal constellation. For a rental apartment with a built-in kitchen, repositioning the stove was a tricky endeavor. With a lot of creativity, Kathrin managed to integrate the change harmoniously into my apartment. The apartment thus became an oasis and positive source of energy for me, which felt like it chased away all negative energy and helped me bring my life into a new focus. I also remember many great evenings with friends in my newly arranged eat-in kitchen, which was now much more unconventional, and also more lively.
Now 15 years later I am in a new constellation with family and two children. We would like to repeat that experience in our new home and not take the given floor plan for granted, realizing that it limits us too much. The positive experience of that time moved me to seek Kathrin out again and now to develop a SpiritPlanning concept for my now family of 4.
